Submitting an article to The Journal of International Trade and Diplomacy will be taken to imply that the article has not been published and is not being considered for publication elsewhere.

Manuscripts may be submitted electronically in MS Word format (doc.) or PDF format to jitd@dtm.gov.tr, or in hard copy. Submissions should be in English, typed in double spacing with wide margins, only one side of the paper, preferably of A4 size. All submissions must include a separate cover page with the author's name, affiliation, mailing address, e-mail address, phone number, at least three key words and an abstract not exceeding 200 words. The author's name shall not appear in the manuscript, and identifying references should be avoided.

Data tables should be clearly headed and the reader should be able to understand the meaning of each row or column without delving into the text for explanation. Units of measurement, base-dates for index numbers, geographical area covered and sources should be clearly stated.

Bibliographical references should be carefully checked, and complete in respect of the year and place of publication.
